MYSKIN is a NEW clean skincare brand dedicated in providing natural, gentle skincare for Tweens & Teens, free from harsh chemicals and made from just pure plant goodness.
My inspiration came from a variety of reasons my love for skincare and cosmetics having worked in this industry since the age of 17! The concept of creating MYSKIN was during a shopping trip with a friend. She wanted a skincare set as a present for her 10-year-old daughter to introduce her into caring for her skin. She wanted affordable but not generic and not too expensive like luxury cosmetic brands. We could not find a product that met her criteria, which sparked my initial idea. I conducted further research and realised that there was a gap in the market that I could fill.
What sets MYSKIN apart from other brands in the market?
What sets us apart is simple! We are a clean tween and teen skincare brand that is commitment to using only natural and ethical ingredients such as aloe vera juice, shea butter and coconut oil in our skincare there are few other brands like us in the tween/teen demographic, which is baffling. We are vegan and do not test on animals. We avoid harsh chemicals and artificial additives, ensuring that our products are safe and gentle for young skin. Additionally, our mission is to educate people in how to achieve healthy skin not perfect skin, fostering a sense of relatability and self-acceptance – confidently encouraging users to flaunt their blemishes and embrace their imperfections they do not make anyone any less beautiful.
MYSKIN products are produced in the UK by using the finest quality plant ingredients, we believe natural ingredients offer the best benefits for young skin. By harnessing the amazing power of nature MYSKIN provides effective skincare solutions eliminating the usage of chemicals. Chemicals in skincare can be harmful, causing skin irritations and allergic reactions even more concerning some chemicals have been linked to hormonal disruptions and potential carcinogenic effects. I wanted to provide younger people with an alternative option to go natural choosing heathier for their skin.
Manufacturing our products in the UK was a decision on which I wasn’t budging!! I wanted to give back and put back into the UK’s economy first, so it allows us to support local businesses thus ensuring we reduce our carbon footprint by minimizing transportation distances. It also allows us to maintain strict quality control and ensures our skincare range meets the highest standards as these can differ from country to country!
Both are core values of our brand. We strive to minimize waste throughout out production process and use eco-friendly recyclable packaging materials from the boxes the products get posted out into the bottles we use to fill the products
